Our story starts in the medieval times, during which witchcraft was common and those thought to possess powers were burnt alive. Still, there were a group of six adults who were spared from this death, as they had shown countless times to be on the villager's side, for whenever creatures or humans attacked them, these six elementors would rise and attack using everything they had.
There was Dain, who led the group of elementors, using brute strength in most of their fights. He had been bonded with the element of fire, which was clear with his glowing, pupil-less eyes that made him appear alien. His skin was a rather orange tone too, and when in battle, it tended to darken and even spout tiny flames that could be used for both attack and defense. His hair was a bright red, and more then once he had accidentally set fire to it while arguing with someone. He had a habit of getting himself caught in various traps as well, which often caused one of the others to have to free him if possible.
Next would have to be Tikian, the water elementor. She was rather agile and quick on her feet, making her main point in battle leaping around and firing blasts of water at the enemy. Her eyes were a soft blue, which made her look rather pretty, until others noticed that her hair wasn't white, it was a light shade of blue. Small gills were on her neck, and she had fins which she could fold out of sight when on of land. She was rather tall for her apparent age, and was often standing up for Mia who was the subject of jokes from Dain and Kuro.
Mia, the youngest of the group and the least experienced. She was the Earth elementor, and often had to be saved by the others when fighting various enemies, particularly those who controlled fire. Still, being one with the earth gave her a slight connection with animals, she couldn't talk to or control them, but there was rarely an animal that wasn't fond of her. She shared a strong bond with Tikian and Dakah, and was the only one of the group who appeared almost normal out of battle. She had green eyes and brown hair, which was why she didn't stand out too much, but she was extremely short for her apparent age which was why so many jokes were thrown at her.
Then, there was the wind elementor, Zane. He was the shy one out of the six, and yelped whenever loud noises were heard, which, of course, made him the other victim of Dain and Kuro's pranks. His hair was blonde, which made his brown eyes stand out, though they almost always had a dazed appearance from his constant daydreaming. He appeared normal in appearance, but that was until you saw the giant wings sprout from his back and his hands become talons. Zane was the oldest of the elementors, which also gave him the label of the most experienced, which was why he was able to shift into any bird he wished at anytime.
Of course, Amai was the complete opposite of Zane. She was full of energy, and was always running about the place, mainly because of the fact that an addition to her power was the ability to absorb electricity. Although, the only accessible electricity back then was lightning, which was why she rarely used that power. Her eyes were a dull pink while her hair was the purest white, almost the same as her skin. Yes, Amai was an albino, though her control over light made her immune to the sun's harmful rays.
You can't mention Dain without mentioning Kuro, who as you probably know, was the dark elementor. Despite his bond with darkness, Kuro was a rather happy and optimistic person to be around. However, he was also very mischievous which allowed him to be best friends with Dain and pull pranks on Mia and Zane whenever they received the chance. His eye color appeared to be black, though on close inspection, it was actually revealed to be a dark purple. When using a large amount of power, they turned a dull pink, something he was very touchy about. Apart from this though, he appeared normal, skin a little pale, though nothing noticeable.
Finally, there was Dakah. He was not an elementor, or even a person. He was a shapeshifter who followed them around, assisting in battles and offering advice here and there to various things. His true form was never discovered, though he often appeared to them as a hawk-like creature, with wings that doubled as front limbs, having a little claw on the end of the wing. Everyone assumed this was his true form, which was probably true.
Each elementor shared a psychic connection, though they couldn't speak directly or read each-others thoughts, they could sense when the others were near, and where they were. To a lesser extent, they shared the connection with Dakah, though they could only tell if he was near, not exactly where he was.
Still, everyone and everything has an enemy of some type, and theirs was Sin-ark, a being capable of telekinesis. He was power-hungry, and saw the elementors as a threat, even though they had never heard of him. Eventually, he started his attack on them, but not in a way they'd expect. It was late at night, they were all asleep, and the poor Amai had no idea he was there, only woke up just in time to see a clawed hand about to slam into her...and the rest can be guessed.
With their friend gone, the elementors found themselves weakening by the day, and when they had barely enough strength to get up, Sin-ark attacked them all. The last to be silenced was Kuro, who Sin-ark thought he could win over to his won side. Still, he did not succeed, and got rid of the dark elementor.
Centuries have passed now, it is the year 2010, so basically, now. The elementors are back now, but they are young, the earth elementor not even in her teens yet. Still, there is one who lives on, Dakah, who Sin-ark had forgotten about. The children live normal lives, but Sin-ark is back, and now Dakah must locate each of them using that faint psychic link. Only when they are all back together, and Dakah has made them complete their own, unique task to unlock their gifts, can they begin to train once more and make their way to the hidden lair of Sin-ark to finish him off.
