Ow. The girl's mind-voice was harsh. Hateful. "Uh, we're kinda far from anyone seeing us. No one comes this deep in the woods." Not usually, at least. "And I don't know why you're so ungracious. We just saved you." Almost the truth. He was still trying to act the part of rescuer, despite Dakah's revelation of himself.

"Oh, well someone's a bit cranky." said Amelia, rolling her eyes. "To think I showed concern!" She grinned in spite of herself. "I s'pose I've got to get a bit better at this whole mind-speak thing, huh?"

: You have noticably progressed. : Stated Dakah, referring to Amelia's question about her improovment when it came to 'mind-speaking'. : Also, I believe the correct word is 'telepathy'. : Added the kafit, forgetting about the girl for a moment or two before switching his attention back to her.
: So, made a choice?: He asked, semi-consiously preening his feathers again.

She crossed her arms, leaning against a near-by tree. Arari's eyes narrowed, staring at each of them in turn. "So far I've narrowed it down to two possiblities. Either door number one, and I've found others, or door number two, I'm defending my life. Either way this isn't going to be the best day I've ever had. Either you're like me, or you're Them. So far things are pointing in your favor, so I'm assuming you're not Them and you're like me. Though I still don't appreciate you destroying my home. I didn't do anything to harm your friend. On the contrary, I cleaned his wounds, fed him, and gave him a bath. ....Though I think he though I was bathing him in acid or something.... he's very overdramatic. No offence."

:Food don't make up for torture, girly!: James' mind-speach was muffled, but clear. He was still hiding, somewhere. :And no sane creature could call water a good thing!:
Ignoring the ferret, Tyler tried to make sence of what the girl said. "Um...we're not exactly attacking you. We just kinda...um...overreacted?" Thinking about it, it was sort of James' fault to begin with. Or maybe Dakah's, for sending him after her. "What's your name, anyway?"

"Arie...Arie Harris. And its nice to know you're not attacking. Though, someone IS going to have to pay for everything you broke in my house, overreacting or not. And knocking me over the head again isn't going to help that. Sorry to sound cold, but its kinda true." Arari shrugged, unsure really what else she could say. What was there to say? What COULD she say?

"Well, Arie, despite the fact that... Er, I take that back. Nevermind." Amelia said quickly. Maybe it was best to keep the fact that Blossom was her familiar out of this.
Blossom's mind-voice was very faight, being so far away as she was. :Ahm, sorry 'bout the whole whack-on-the-head thing, girlie. The little guy sounded like you had a knife to his throught.:

"Yah, more like ferret conditioner.... it makes them fluffy.... besides, you have to bath a ferret ATLEAST once a year.... I mean, not everyday, or they get this freaky skin cancer... I was just trying to get parasites off, geez! ... unless he's a polecat.... or a snichet...but... he was blue and I don't think he had horns... hmmmm... why is all this outloud? Eh, why not?" She shrugged, "Does it matter?"

Amelia grinned. This girl was alright, despite the rambling of things that she didn't understand. "Well, I don't think he exactly wants to be fluffy." She said, chuckling a bit. "He's a boy. It's the girl ferrits that like being fluffy. I think."
Blossom was getting fairly closer, but still out of site. :Either way, the little guy hates water. :

"Well, he could have told me that.... eh, I'd probably argue him into taking a bath. Oh well...so, which one of you is Mr. Dramammal's zookeeper?" She said, trying to decide if she could trust them or not. Who could truely be trusted?

:There's no cause for fluffyness in my life, thanks! And it ain't my fault that your "bath" sounds and feels remarkably like a torture chamber!: James didn't like Arie. Gee. Surprise, surprise.
Tyler slightly raised his hand. "Um, mine, unfortunately." Dramammal...good term for James. "Sorry about the whole knock-unconsious thing. We weren't exactly thinking clearly..." And just like that, he realized they still weren't. "Um...why is it that you aren't freaked by all this? Or even a little surprised? And how," he was a bit angry now, "how the heck can you talk telepathically?"

She shrugged, "I was born this way, or, atleast I've been able to do this since as long as I can remember. It just took a while to control. Besides, there's way more freaky things than this. ....Didn't you read The Book? Well... there are only... three copies... but... Geez, you're running around with a Kafit and I'M supposed to be the one that's so supprised?" Arari sighed, shaking her head. "Besides, you all speak telepathically, and you have...I guess most people refer to them as familiars, yes? What's the big difference?"

"Book?" Tyler looked questionably at Dakah. This would be so much easier if he could read about it. "I only learned about this whole, familiar-telepath thing recently." How much could he give away? Should he lie? "Sorry, seems like twenty questions, but where did you come from?"

She raised an eyebrow, staring at him, "You seem like a big boy, isn't that a conversation you've already had with mommy and daddy?" Arari smirked, inside paniced, wondering what she should say... well... the truth. Edited truth. "Well... I've kinda lived here for 3 years... so its not like I'm new or anything. I mostly just keep to myself, for obvious reasons. I don't draw attention to myself. Its easier that way, and because I mostly keep to myself, most people don't notice me. If most people don't notice me, obviously most people don't know me."

"Yeah, um, well, it was kind of just a couple days ago when we found out we wern't exactly normal, so we really havn't gotten a chance to figure stuff out yet." said Amelia, shrugging. "Either way, it's awesome, so really, I don't care. The sooner I get more stuff figured out, the better." She grinned. She was always grinning, even in the face of someone she felt was dangerous. How weird.

Dakah shook his head as Tyler glanced at him, having of never heard of 'the book'. : You are rather confusing... : Stated the kafit, referring to Arari as he spoke.
: You use several terms I do not understand, and Tyler is not a 'big boy', he is a male, and I believe he is actually short for human standards. : Whether this actually insulted Tyler or not seemed to not be noticed by Dakah as he gazed at them all from his perch.
: And what, may one ask, is a Drammamal? : Questioned the hawk, now completely confused at what they were saying.

Tyler's turn as translator for the bird. "Dakah, 'big boy' is an overly familiarial term used in this case as an insult, though a slight one. I am actually rather tall for a human, thank you, and 'Drammammal' would be an overly-dramatic mammal, a phrased newly coined by Arie, here, referring to James' antics. My apologies," he added to Arie, "I was under the mistaken impression you were new, as I had never seen you before, which was doubtless your intention. And Mia, why are you still grinning like a chimp with a banana?" Throughout this mini-speech, Tyler's voice had taken on more and more of an academic British quality.
"Zane?" James asked as he stuck his head out of a tree. (He could certainly travel fast.) "Are you Zane again, mate?"
"What?" Tyler stumbled against a tree. "Sorry, I just blanked for a minute. What're you doing back?"

"He came back to valiantly rescue you from my horrible torture, right?" She smirked, staring at them.
And then, something in her mind snapped. Zane. He said Zane. One of the names... Arari tried to stay calm. On the surface she seemed to ignore it completely. But, inside, she was panicked. Arari honestly didn't want to believe it. After all, if that was true, they would have just killed her when they had the chance, Wouldn't they have? So for now she'd keep it tucked away, save it for later and hope it was just coincidence.

"I ain't grinning like a chimp with a bannana!" said Amelia, scowling suddenly. Then she smirked. "Not anymore... And I thought it was Dakah's thing to call me Mia? If you want to shorten my name, call me Am."
Blossom was back by them now, and a bit out of breath for that. "Well, m'girl, I really don't know. He might be having a relapse?"
A bit confused over the definition of 'relapse' used by Blossom, Amelia shrugged.

: Ah... : Dakah nodded as Tyler spoke, finally getting an idea on what everyone was talking about. : Aye, could be a relapse Blossom, could be useful though when the training begins... : He trailed off for a while, a habit he was starting to gain by now.
: Are you a chimpanzee?! : The kafit suddenly questioned, starring at Amelia in confusion. : Do they live beside humans? They look different now, exactly like a human! : Questions began to fly out at them, obviously Dakah had mis-heard what Tyler had said to Amelia.

"Uh...who said anything about a chimp?" ((Memory loss, such a great plot devise!)) Tyler's knees wobbled. He felt kinda dizzy. He leaned against a tree, but he just got more dizzy. "Dakah, why are you talking about chimps? And relapse? Am I sick? What's going-" *THUMP* Tyler slumped on the ground, unconscious.
"Oy!" James jumped from the tree he was in, landing rather well for a four foot fall. "Tyler! What'd you fall over for?" He stuck his nose in the air elementor's ear, but no responce. "Blossom, Dakah, something's wrong!"

"Ah, yes... karma. Such a wonderful thing.... with its... karma-aticness... yah. Okay, well, I'm pretty sure I have some stuff for this kinda thing back at my house... if you didn't blow everything up. Now, you guys might think leaving people in the middle of nowhere while they're unconscious is perfectly fine, but it really isn't." Arari said, coming over to Tyler, and beginning to scoop up his body bridal-style. Supprisingly, he was lighter than he appeared to be. "You guys coming?"

: Ah, not good... : Spiraling down to Tyler, Dakah landed awkwardly on the ground beside him, nudging him with his beak, though seeing no responce. : I do not think it is anything serious, relapses do have a powerful after-effect if you are not ready for it... :
The kafit suddenly shuddered, remembering a rather unpleasent encounter with an 'illness' of sorts a long time ago. : James, remember when I had motes? Did you smell any on Tyler? :
He squawked as Arari picked up Tyler off the ground, nervously glancing at Mia as he grabbed Arari's arm with his extremely long tail, warning her not to go away just yet. : Should we trust her for now Mia? :

Concentrating on just sending the message to Dakah, Amelia tilted her head slightly. :I think we should, er, refrain from saying too much. I'm not sure, really.:
Speaking aloud now, she rolled her eyes. "Naw, I ain't a chimp. He was wondering why I was grinning like one. And no, they don't live alongside us. They're really close in intelligence, but they're really hairy compared to us." Now switching over to the situation at hand, she once again shrugged. "I s'pose it'd be for the best to get him help right away, and I don't think this calls for a medic. To your house we goooo!"

James bounded over to Tyler (who was still quite unconscious) and Arari (who was holding him), jumping onto his chest. "Tyler, arise, sleepy bounder!" No luck. "Naw, Dakah, don't smell nothing on him. And I don't appreciate you takin' my human without asking me first!" He glared at the girl. "'Specially when you mutter mutter mutter...." Amelia wasn't really helping, practically encouraging the kidnapper.

"Ok, Mr.I'm-so-smart, then YOU can carry him back to his house and explain why he's unconscious and why you are blue and talking. Most other people I know don't really appreciate that kind of thing," Arari said, "unless YOU have a BETTER idea, shut up and let me get him back to my house until he is... oh, I don't know.... concious?"

"Hmph. Well, since you're the only one HELPING," giving a glare at Amelia for just standing there, "I 'spose I'll ignore the kidnapping." :For now,: James mentally (perhaps foolishly) added. He remained in place on Tyler's chest.

"I heard that." She said, narrowing her eyes, then sighing, "Come on, lets go." Arari said, starting off towards her house, Tyler in an unconscious lump and James on top. She hoped no one was looking outside because this would be, really, really hard to explain... even without the blue ferret.

Sasha walked through the park, hands shoved inside her pockets, just taking a stroll after swim practice. It was fair weather out today. She took a deep breath, and paused. Somehow, she had wandered off the path, and now saw a group: two girls, a hawk-thing, an unconcious boy, a blue ferrit, and some kind of a deer. How weird. "Zane! What happened?" The words popped out of her mouth before she could even think about it. Who was Zane? Who were these people? And why was the ferrit blue!? "Er, ahm, hi." she said somewhat sheepishly. Ah man, now she'd have to start a conversation! Well, it'd be nice to know what happened to the guy, and see if she could help. "I'm Sasha. Need some help?"

One of Dakah's loud squawks could be heard as he scurried over to the new arrival, feathers puffed up as he hissed at the girl. He was attempting to scare her off, getting rather bad-tempered at the moment from all the action a while ago. : LEAVE OR WE SHALL DEVOUR YOU! : Shouted the kafit, though his small size didn't exactly make him very threatening, and the fact that the puffed up feathers just made him look all fluffy.
: Zane? : He ceased with the hissing, though still held a defensive position as he glared at the girl. : What do you know about Zane? : A nervous glance was thrown in the direction of the elementors and Arari, hoping they would help him out a little.
