Okay. So the bird-thing spoke. Well, not really spoke. It was a weird echoe in her mind, which she somehow knew was its way of talking.
"Er, ahm, I really have no clue why I said that..." said Sasha, chewing on the inside of her cheek - a nasty habit of hers that she had never been able to break. "It just, sorta, popped out. I seriously have never even heard that name before." As a cautious afterthought, she added, "Please don't kill me."

"Don't worry. I don't think we have to kill you." Said Amelia with a smile. She felt like she knew this girl. "Dakah's just trying to be tough. My name's Amelia." She didn't have a problem revealing Dakah's name, as well as her own. She had a much better feeling about this girl then she did about Arie. Kind of like the one she had about Tyler when she met him. Could it be another one of these... What were they called again? Oh yeah. Elementors.

"Ow....ah...." Tyler awoke with a groan. He had a splitting headache. "What...just...happened?" he nearly whispered. All he knew was that he was talking and then...What had he even been talking about was beyond him.
James hadn't noticed his master's reawakening. "Oh, crimeny, another one," he muttered as he dashed into the bushes.

"I don't know, ask you're friends," She said to the boy still in her arms, "do you think you can walk, or should I keep carrying you?.... You're actaully very light. "

"Carrying...Oh. No, I think you can put me down. And I'm not sure if that was a compliment," he added. Hopefully she wouldn't drop him.
Meanwhile, James had managed to sneak up behind random new girl. From a tree branch: "And who are you supposed to be, then?"

: Hm.... : One could tell Dakah dissaprooved of the friendliness towards the girl, though he said nothing and decided to try and perch on Amelia's shoulder without permission once more.
: Question, is it not supposed to be the males who carry the females when they become unconsious? I have seen many....drive-in holographic projectors I believe they are, and the male deemed as a hero often carries the female out from a fire or similar... : He shrugged, now waiting for an answer as he eyed the new arrival cautiously.

Sasha jumped at the sound of a tree branch talking to her. How odd. And then, there was the whole deal with the bird-thing ignoring her... But the one girl seemed nice. "Er, like I said, my name is Sasha. Sasha Jade-Sirokey. It's kinda dumb, my mom wanted to hyphenate her name instead of just taking on my dad's..." Man, why was she blabbering like these people had the right to know everything about her? "Anyway, are you alright? And your name wouldn't happen to be Zane, would it? Because that name sorta popped into my head when I saw you..." Dang, there she goes again!

"Er...traditionally, yes, Dakah. The man is supposed to be the tough one. Rescuing the female. And whatnot." Still being held, he attempted to turn his head toward the new girl. "Um, yeah, I'm fine, but my name's Tyler. I don't know who Zane is, but Dakah and James had called me that earlier...I think..." Apparently, babbling was contagious.
"Oy, you didn't answer my question." James leaned out farther on the branch, amazingly not landing in a furry splat on the ground. "Who. Are. You?"

Amelia couldn't help but be slightly amused at Jame's question. "Er, she just said so." She said, surpressing a giggle. "Nice to meetchya, Sasha." (( Writer's block. ))

: Ah... : He was silent for a while, starring at Sasha and Zane for quite a long time, before coughing slightly and edging away from them. He turned to Amelia and started making a strange series of chirps and squawks.
: Got all that? : He was under the illusion that Amelia could understand all of that, forgetting that the elementors weren't exactly knowledgeable on their gifts. Without waiting fore an answer, the kafit switched his attention back to Sasha, whom he currently had not recognised due to the fact the hair wasn't blue.
: Anyway, why are you kidnapping Zane, and what is your Deoxyribonucleic acid structure? :

"Er, I'm not under the intention to kidnap anyone." said Sasha, mentally flipping through her seventh-grade science book. "Deoxyribonucleic acid... DNA? We call it DNA nowadays. And there's really no way to tell what yours looks like; it's too small." Man, now she sounded like a nerd. Continuing to chew on the inside of her cheek, she looked at the small girl. Or at least, the top of her head. "Nice to meet you too."

Amelia eyed Dakah, raising an eyebrow. "Er, I didn't catch a single part of it. And honestly, I will never be able to figure out how you knew what that deoxy- whatever stuff was." she said, turning back to Sasha and craning her neck to see the girl's face. "So, either I invest in high heels or you invest in flats. Which one?" she joked, smiling.

: DN...A?....How the humans have changed.... : Dakah shook his head, starting to move off into where the scattered trees came together to form a forest. However, as they continued to talk, more questions and statements filled Dakah's head.
: 'DNA' is used in many shapeshifting spells, being a shapershifter myself, knowledge on this subject is vital, otherwise, I could be stuck in one form or another...Though I believe you humans know more about this subject now.... : Another pause, signalling another round of questions were to be fired.
: Heels of high? Flats? What are they? Are they types of money-making schemes? You mentioned investments... :

Arari sighed, gently placing Tyler on the ground. "You people need help," she said, shaking her head, "I'll be going home now. Assessing the damage. I'll have the total cost to you tomorrow. I was completely serious when I said you guys were paying for it, have a nice day!" She waved, running off to her house.

Silently agreeing with Arari's approximation of his group-mates, Tyler picked himself off the ground. "Very cheery shark, she is," he muttered. "Dakah-" he began aloud, "...Never mind." He was still dizzy. "What time is it, anyway?" The sun had moved aways from when they had first met. Good thing it was a Saturday.
James had been watching the verbal tennis, head poking back and forth as each of the crazy females spoke. "Oy, bird-brain," he said to the kafit, "New girl don't half look familiar...If you'd stop babbling with the rest of 'em, you mighta noticed..."

"High heels and flats are types of shoes, Dakah." said Amelia, rolling her eyes. "Flats don't make you seem taller than you are, but high heels add a few inches to your height. Obviously, I need to spend some money on some, but I heard they're awful uncomfterble." Done with her short speech on shoes - something she generally didn't care about; she dressed for comfort rather than style - she shrugged. "Anyway, the bird thing rambling about DNA is Dakah, the fawn is Blossom, ferrit is James, and this guy," she elbowed Tyler, "is Tyler." She hoped it was alright that she had introduced everyone.
Finally coming back due to the fact that Arari had left, Blossom gave a smile, or at least as much of one her muzzle could allow. "Hiya! Y'know, you remind me of someone I once knew..." Deciding not to ramble on about how she and Tikikan's familiar were once great friends, she shut her mouth. Best spare them for now. (( Squee! The writer's block is GONE! ))

"Oof." Amelia's elbow had pushed the air out of Tyler's lungs. "Yeah. Hi. Sasha. Right. Uh, kinda rude, but why are you here? I mean, here, specifically, not in general, existential ridiculousness...I'll shut up now."
James nodded a bit in response to his name. "Y'know, if you'd been listening 'stead of talkin'," he said to Blossom, "y'woulda heard me say that already."

: Now that you mention it... : Using his tail to hang from the branch, the hawk somehow managed to shift from the ground to hanging upside down in front of Sasha, beak inches from her face. : I do not suppose that you have been growing any finds or gills have you? : Questioned the hawk, awkwardly glancing behind him at James and Blossom.
: T'was a swallow for Tikian wasn't it? Can't remember the name though... : He glanced at the two familiars, then shifted his gaze back to Sasha. : And, Mia, I do not 'ramble', I inform, I educate, I discover, but I do not 'ramble'. :

"I think it was a sparrow, not a swallow." Said Blossom. "Either way, it was some kind of a tiny bird." Looking over at Sasha, she repeated Dakah's question, but in a different phrasing. "Do you have anything to do with water? Like, any abnormaties that enable you to be an awesome swimmer or something of the sort?"
Amelia shook her head at Dakah. "Inform, discover, ramble, same diffrence." She said with a smile.

"Er..." Sasha blinked in surprize as the bird-thing dangled right in front of her. It was impossible for a human to have gills, right? "I've always been an 'awesome swimmer', as Blossom put it. No gills or anything, though. And what's all this rambling about a sparrow or a swallow or whatever? And who is this Tikian person? The name sounds very familiar, but I don't think I've heard it before. It's weird." she said. Joy, she thought, mentally kicking herself. Now I'm talking their ears off again.

"Always been a good swimmer, huh?" said Blossom, looking at Dakah. "Tikian, you think?"
Curious, Amelia looked at Blossom. Was this girl another one of those elementor people? "I think I've heard that name before too. Is she....?" She trailed off, not wanting to freak the poor girl out. Despite the fact she appeared to have a cool head when unexpectedly confronted by talking animals, she couldn't help but think that Sasha's brain must have been on overload.

"Definitely. Smells right, too. Like lakeweed and fish." James two cents was far from tactful, but she did look (and smell) to him like the water elementor.
"So...does she have to think about a sparrow, then?" Tyler asked of Dakah. "Or any small bird of her choice?"

(( Hope it's alright that her familiar is a guy. I just had the perfect personality cut out for him in my mind, and it wouldn't work out that well if it were a girl. )) Like lakeweed and fish? Sasha looked at the talking animals. Then at the boy. At his suggestion, the image of a sparrow popped into her head. There used to be a small flock living near her house, so she had a pretty good idea what they looked like. They were small - about the size of a mouse or something of the sort. They normally posessed a brownish-red color, with some white and black mixed in. They were cute little things, with beady black eyes - like a Teddy bear. She had always put a bird feeder out at the beginning of Spring, and would observe them twittering to each other about who-knows-what. The image complete in her head, she heard a small sound. A voice, in fact. It had a slight British quip to it, like one of those butlers you see in old movies that always end up being murderers. "Hello, Tikian." Sasha looked up, and there it was. The exact replica of the bird she had imagined. And it was calling her Tikian, who the talking animals seemed to think she was. "Uh, hi." She said, surprized. "Um. Yeah. I'm Sasha. Not Tikian. I think. What's your name?" "That's up to you, Miss." The name just popped into her head within a second. "Henry. Your name is Henry." But there still seemed to be something missing from the creature... Something, like a unique color. She tilted her head to the side, imagining Henry with lighter colors - grey instead of black, a dark blue instead of red. As she thought these things, the small bird changed. Blinking, she stepped back a bit. "Um." she said, surprized. "I just changed your feathers." That much was obvious. But she had to say it aloud to let it sink in. "Why, yes. I beleive you did." The now grey, blue, and white bird said, spreading its wings and examining them. (( XDD Longness. Sorry. Visual aid here: www.tariquesani.net/albums/userpics/DSCN4628_fk.jpg Google. Gotta love it. ))

: British names seem to be popular... : Announced Dakah, shuffling along the branch to get a better look at the sparrow as the colours began to shift. : Hm, nice combination, natual colours, but still unique enough to recognise... :
He began to ramble once more, though was cut off as the sparrow spoke, his attention now focusing on Sasha. : So you are Tikian. This is very good, very good indeed... :
He suddenly launched off the branch, talons outstretched and aimed at Sasha, he was planning to land on her shoulder. Hopefully for both their sake, she knew this for Dakah could do without a broken talon.

((British accents rule. And so do long posts.))
"Uh, guys..." Tyler began. Except they were all girls. But it would be weird, saying 'girls,' because that sorta sounded sexist or something. Enough pausing just keep talking! "It's kinda late..."
"Dunno what you're talkin' about, mate, still plenty 'v light in the sky," James admonished. "And I dunno why you couldn't'v made me look normal like Harold over there, 'stead of givin' me these blue wavey lines. Caused enough trouble, they did."

"Uh, is that a bad thing or something!?" Sasha squeaked, jumping out of the way of the swooping hawk. "Please don't kill me!" She covered her head with her arms. A hawk digging its talons into her head didn't seem like an enjoyable experience to her.
Henry hovered near her head. "Nay, I beleive he is attempting to land on your shoulder, miss."
"How do I know you're not on his side!?" Sasha said, relaxing a bit but still covering her head.

Blossom nodded to Henry. "Good to see ya again!"

"GAH!" Watching her move out of the way, Dakah' didn't have time to pull out of the dive, and soon ended up merting the ground beak-first.
: Ugh... : Slowly picking himself up off the ground, spitting out a leaf as he did, he turned to give Sasha a glare before padding over to Amelia, trusting her a little more then the water elemental. : I despise the taste of leaves...I do not understand how you can enjoy eating them Blossom... :
He shook his feathers and stood up on all fours, getting a better look at Henery and Sasha. : Well Tikian, good to see that we finally found you..I don't suppose you've seen the other three have you? : Without waiting for an answer, Dakah pointed towards the heart of the forest. : I suppose we should start learning the basics anyway...I need to teach you guys about secrecy around humans...We need to have SOME type of protection. :

"Er, sorry Dakah..." said Sasha. "I really don't know what you meant by the other three, but getting cover is a good idea. I don't think people will think taht animals like this are exactly... natural..." She shrugged a bit.
Henry began fluttering to the forest. "Shall we be going, then?"

"Huh. Got that right, girly. Thanks to the creative idiot here," James pointed his head at Tyler, "I was kidnapped and downed."
Tyler sighed. "James, for the last time, you were neither kidnapped nor drowned!" Tyler looked at the sky again. "Training would be good, Dakah. Where should we go?"
